Capspace and Eat Up Australia team up to combat food insecurity
Capspace partners with Eat Up Australia as official fruit supplier for Sydney schools. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to tackling food insecurity among school children by ensuring they have access to nutritious food.Eat Up is an Australian charity that provides free lunches to school children in need.
Since 2013, when Lyndon Galea founded Eat Up, the organisation has delivered close to 4 million lunches to school children who would otherwise go without. Each week, with the help of partners and volunteers, Eat Up prepares and delivers over 30,000 lunches to over 900 schools nationwide.
Capspace is proud to support Eat Up’s 2025 expansion plans. In Sydney, Eat Up’s school program will grow to assist approximately 200 schools by Term 1 of 2025. Capspace will contribute over 30,000 pieces of fruit each term, going directly to school children who need them most.
